Exxaro Leeuwpan
At Leeuwpan, Umagezana Engineering operates as a trusted contractor, assisting with the installation of new equipment, system upgrades, and repairs of faulty machinery. We work closely with the mine's personnel to resolve faults swiftly and effectively. A standout achievement was the automation of a truck wash bay.
Congo MV (6.6KV) Pump and PLC Commissioning
At the request of our client, we were deployed to perform fault finding on six 1 MW soft starters and the associated PLC system responsible for water supply to the entire city of Kinshasa. Our team was flown in, efficiently identified and resolved the issues, recommissioned the system, and completed the project within four days.
Sasol-Secunda
At Sasol's Secunda plant, Umagezana Engineering recently completed a successful project involving the implementation of a PLC system for the stop/start cycle of two MV compressors, each operating on a 7-day rotation. The project enhanced equipment protection, reduced electrical stress during start-up, and ensured reliable compressor performance, demonstrating our commitment to delivering efficient and high-quality solutions.
